With over thirty years of production experience, we offer versatile pre and post production services from rehearsal space to final mixing and mastering of your project. We have over 60 industry leading microphones in our collection and can provide full instrumentation if needed. About the owners...

Founders and owners Brian Gibbs and Forest Wilson are musicians at heart with a passion for technology and the art of capturing and preserving sound. They are both graduates from Berklee College of Music in Boston and are active members in the Recording Acadamy (NARAS), the Audio Engineering Society (AES) and the Audio G.A.N.G. Brian holds a degree in Jazz Composition and Forest in Music Production and Engineering. They have worked with countless artists and know what it takes to make a recording great. They started the Tool Shed Studio as a hobby in 2002 and since then it has grown into a business. Why call it "Tool Shed Studio?" Well, Wilson and Gibbs have the tools and the experience to capture you "shedding" out your heart and soul in your music.
